What is The Adventurer's Guild?

The Adventurer's Guild is a NFT-based RPG developed by SixPM Software, and powered by the WAX Blockchain. You can create a character, deck them out in gear, and embark on quests, ranging from dungeon crawls to fights against powerful bosses, all from Discord!

Defeating foes and completing quests will earn you rewards, in the form of Loot Chests that can be opened for NFTs, and $GUILD, a WAX token that serves as the currency of The Adventurer's Guild.

In this Whitepaper the term "Guild/guild" is used in a variety of contexts.

The Adventurer's Guild: the game.

What is this document?

This is the draft whitepaper for The Adventurer's Guild. You can see changes over time here.

This Whitepaper has been presented in such a way to first provide background, then introduce game concepts in a logical and understandable order. As such, key features of the game may not be introduced first.

Some of these flagship features include:

• Dynamic Player Avatars: Your game pass NFT will update to show your avatar in whatever gear you equip, as well as your character's current status.
• Fully Customisable builds: Equipment and Skill NFTs will be able to be upgraded, with unique bonuses being added at each level. With 11 equipment slots and 5 skill slots, this means that the combinations of gear and skills are practically endless.
• When will ??? be stakable?: Almost every NFT minted on the WAX blockchain will be usable in The Adventurer's Guild, thanks to our Candlelight system. You'll be able to equip almost any NFT to your character for some bonus boosts. (You can only equip a limited number of NFTs at any given time). Some partnered projects will even have special interactions. Via regular "illumination" events, TAG will shine a light on some of the smaller collections on WAX!
• Loot minted straight to your wallet! - Just beat a boss? Each time you complete a quest, you'll get a pack containing your loot sent directly to WAX wallet! Will you try your luck and open it or flip it on the market? The choice is yours!
• Earn $GUILD by defeating foes! - $GUILD is a token deployed on the WAX blockchain. You can use it for various purposes within The Adventurer's Guild, or sell it for WAX on Alcor!
